Born in New York City, USA, Andy came to England as a youth with his family. Listening to Jimi Hendrix had already turned him on to playing the guitar and at 15 he was playing in a band. Since then Andy’s love of music has expanded to encompass diverse artistes and styles, he’s recorded with Benjamin Zephania and is into music from Thomas Mpfumo to dance, ragga and rap. He is also currently performing with ’Mahjoun’, with Idris Rahman. Andy also enjoys recording in his home studio.
